Membership
Gives Back is dedicated to helping you be more involved in community service. There are two ways you can participate:
Volunteer Corp - Anyone may participate in our community service projects. We don’t ask for your money—only your time and spirit! To participate in our Volunteer Corp, look out for volunteer opportunities in your community. Individuals of all ages and all abilities are welcome to participate. We know for some of you, your time is limited by your schedule. If you would like to participate, we’ll partner you with an impactful project that fits in with your busy lifestyle.
If you are unable to be physically present, we also have volunteer projects you can do from home, anywhere in the world! Please always RSVP so that we may ensure we have enough supplies and leaders to ensure you can make the most impact.
Members - Membership is limited to those who want to help shape the direction of our organization. Only our members may vote for the board of directors or serve on the board or committees. Though we will accept community service project ideas from anyone, our members’ ideas will generally receive priority.
In order to ensure that individuals who share our core values guide our decision making, membership is generally limited to the following groups—see membership application for details:
- Directors and staff of 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations (paid or voluntary).
- Educators
- Students
Annual membership fee: $20
Lifetime membership fee: $100
